Privacy Policy

SensorDash shows what your iPhone’s sensors can report and what that lets an app learn. It does this without collecting anything. This policy covers SensorDash 2.0 and later, its widgets and Controls, and this website.

What SensorDash collects

Nothing. SensorDash has no account, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting, no third-party code, and no networking code. No sensor reading is ever sent off your iPhone. The App Store privacy label is Data Not Collected.

What it reads, and when

SensorDash reads a sensor only while an instrument that uses it is on screen, or while a Session you started is running (see below). Depending on the instrument and your permissions, that can include location, heading, motion, air pressure, steps and floors, the microphone’s input level, and device state such as battery and storage.

What it keeps

Permissions

SensorDash asks for a permission only when you tap that permission’s Allow button on an instrument. It shows no permission prompt at launch. You can change any permission in Settings at any time, and the rest of the app keeps working without it.

Sessions and background location

A Session is the only time SensorDash reads sensors in the background. You start it yourself; SensorDash never starts one on its own.

Widgets and Controls

Widgets read their own values, such as battery and available storage, when iOS refreshes them, and show the time they read them. The app does not pass sensor readings to widgets.

SensorDash Pro

SensorDash Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; SensorDash never sees your payment details and runs no purchase server. The only thing SensorDash keeps is whether Pro is unlocked.

Camera and depth hardware

SensorDash may report whether camera, TrueDepth, or LiDAR hardware is present. It never opens the camera and never reads images, video, or depth data.

What SensorDash can’t see

iOS does not let one app see which other apps are using a sensor. SensorDash reports only its own access and sampling. The camera and microphone indicators and Privacy & Security in Settings show this for your whole iPhone.

This website

This website does not run analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party scripts, and loads no remote fonts. The hosting provider may keep standard server access logs for security and reliability; SensorDash does not use them to identify or profile anyone.

Children

SensorDash does not collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised policy and its date will be posted here. A change that added any collection or transmission would be stated clearly here and in the app’s App Store privacy details before it shipped.
